Tharl Racers of Gor: Schedule Leagues Results Stats Information

TRG Avatar Guidelines

Clothing Guidelines

These are Gorean-themed Events, so kirtles, silks, leathers, and the like are always welcome. Nude parts may be showing, but nothing sexually overt, such as an erect penis or a bulging pussy.

Avatar Minimum height: 5 feet
Avatar Maximum Size: Your avatar must fit entirely within the gate so that it does not interfere with racers in the other gates.

No child avatars. Some of our racetracks are on adult sims and some of our racers race bare or nearly bare to reduce lag. Furries are welcome as long as they sit in the saddle as a human would and are at least 5 feet tall.

Absolutely NO Weapons with scripts. Ornamental weapons are allowed as long as they do not extend beyond a normal size or the size of the gates, and cannot be drawn or shot.

Raids are not permitted at the race tracks. Remove your GM Hud. And any other hud other than the necessary G&S hud. You will not need them on Race Day.

You may not race in different leagues by using an alt during the same racing month, ever. This will get you banished from racing.

If you decide to change to an alt permanently, allow one month of no participation between the transition and the alt will begin in D League and work up the League Ladder.

We also understand that creatures other than Goreans ride tharlarions made by G&S and they are welcome to race as long as they are respectful of the Gorean Culture, as we will be respectful of theirs.

Scripts on Racing Day

The Tharl Racers of Gor have avatar script limits of 50 or fewer scripts that apply to all of our racers. We also hope that spectators will help control lag by lowering their scripts to our level. Most of our tracks have script ejectors which will bounce you without notice if you are wearing more than 50 scripts. Racing outfits are highly recommended. Create an outfit that is very low in scripts and it will improve your racing. Please keep your bandwidth usage lower than 3,000 KB and your complexity as low as possible. Racers who race over the script limit will have 50% of their total points removed for that race day.

Teleport Lag

Everyone tries to cooperate as much as possible when it comes to controlling lag during races on race day. One of the worst type of lag is that of teleporting in and out of the sim during a race or relogging during a race. The racers can lose seconds by an interruption of the sim processor, thereby running into a rock wall or down a hole. When relogging or teleporting friends and racers, please do that after the results of a race have been posted by the scoreboard and before the next race’s countdown.
